I'm wanting to buy a dresser to use as a changing table with the pad on top. How deep should the dresser be for it to be safe for the baby? Also, anyone recommend good height?

The baby boutique we have suggests using dressers as changing tables, that way they can grow with your child. One brand they carry is Pali, and the one we would have chosen for a dresser/changer is 50 x 34 x 20 (Width x Depth x Height).

I Just made sure the height of the dresser was comfortable to me...I stood in front of it for a long time pretending to change a baby. HA!
We made sure it was deep enough to accomodate a changing pad plus a few inches on either side. I can't remember the changing pad measurements though.
