My daughter needs valentines for school.
I hate to go out and buy something, I have TONS of scrapbook paper and wanted to do something like this:

Does it look too over achiever? I don't want to look like "one of those Mom's."
I'm just trying to use what I have and not spend money.
I cut out the heart and my DD has folded it and wrote her name. She has done a few and is on a roll. Just wanted to put it out there.

If you were to embellish it with lots of crap, then yes, I'd probably make some snide overachiever comment. If however, you just did something simple, like the picture, I'd commend you on your creativity and simplistic style!

We loved how the heart was the envelope. We're so cheap...yet this is so cute and creative. My DD loves it too! I guess that is all that matters.

It is very cute and since it is one simple heart, just folded, no one in their right mind can judge you for being over the top. It is way cute.
