When does the spitting up stop?

We have had an inordinate amount of it today. Today, I have cleaned it off the wood floor, the carpet, the rug, the bath mat, my clothes, DD's clothes, and even the cat. Does spitting up ever go away?

I was actually going to ask this very same question! LO has been spitting up like crazy yesterday and today and now that he's on solids it's even yuckier.

I feel your pain.  I knew we'd be doing more wash when we had a baby, but I thought it would be HIS clothes, not more of ours too.  The doctor told me it usually stops by age one.  So there's a light at the end of the tunnel.

Keep them off their tummy for as long as possible after meals, that seems to help...

DS1 didn't stop spitting up until he was almost a year old.
