I just finished When You are Engulfed in Flames by David Sedaris and just started another one of his books called Holidays on Ice. I can't get enough of his humor!

I loved loved both of those. Have you read the one where he works as an elf in the department store? I was dying laughing.
Room is on my "to read" list. I'm reading the hunger games trilogy as well as the girl with the dragon tattoo series. I read evanovich's Stephanie Plum series as brain breaks between heavier books. A thousand splendid suns was one of my favorite books. I just read Kabul beauty school and it was "ok" the author's writing style was sort of all over the place and I found her kind of flaky (it's a true story) and not a great parent.
I just finished and loved Zeitoun, about how one family got through hurricane Katrina. It's hard to read at times -- they were SO poorly treated by FEMA, but also heartwarming.
I'm reading Another Mother's Life by Rowan Coleman. It's taking me forever because it's hard to read with a 2 month-old who isn't napping! It's pretty good, though. I read another book by her, called The Accidental Mother. Seems to be a theme in her writing...
I just finished the Millenium series by Stieg Larsson. They're good books and very, very quick reads. I'm starting Sarah's Key tomorrow, which I've heard great things about.
I just finished Water for Elephants as well. Loved it And I will soon be reading Room for book club (March selection). Happy to hear it was awesome!
Right now I'm reading Summer Sisters for book club. I'm having a hard time getting into it. It's....odd. An easy read though.
I'm about to start The Thirteenth Tale (also for book club).

I am reading Shadow of her smile by Mary higgens clark. Not sure if Ieven like her that much but someone lent it tome so I am giving it a try. It is confusing so far with a lot of unnecessary characters being introduced.

Re: What are you reading right now?
I'm reading a book by Sarah Gruen as well called Flying Changes.
I just finished the Blue Orchard--I liked it because it's very thought provoking but I am not sure everyone would find it enjoyable.
