TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

Another RE update

We were able to dig out, make it to the RE's office and they were open. We have lots of follies (18.0, 15.2, 13.9, 12.8, 12.3 on the left and 17.5, 16.4, 15.2, 15.0, 14.8, 14.5, 13.9, 13.1, 12.2 on the right) and we're continuing the stims until Saturday morning he's hoping the ones that are 12 grow to 16's. Then on Saturday at 11 PM we're triggering for a retrieval at 11 AM on Monday. I'm very excited.

I'm starting to become uncomfortable from the ovaries the size of grapefruits and I asked if I could take anything, he said advil until Saturday but after Saturday nothing. The good news is I have a snow day today and I don't work Fridays so I don't have to wear real pants again until Tuesday. So that's my update until Monday! Big Smile

Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
  • Wow, that's great news!

Lots of stuff I read rec'd Gatorade or the like to help with bloating, because it has electrolytes. Problem is, it also has gobs of sugar and carbs make you retain water too. I did lots of coconut milk smoothies and also just popped electrolyte tabs. Gross as it sounds, ODing on electrolytes draws fluids into the bowel from elsewhere (like the abdomen) to flush out the excess electrolytes. Better to have the runs than OHSS, I always say :)
  • **for the post-ER bloat I mean.
  • That sounds great.  I hope the smaller ones grow quickly for you.  I would love to live in yoga pants right now.  Tomorrow is casual Friday, but I'm thinking that's a bit too casual.  I have found stretching and walking helps a lot.
