TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

So confused, anyone familiar with this?

I had CD3 testing today which was b/w and an u/s. Bloodwork came back fine, but my u/s is what I'm confused about. I live 3 hours away from RE, so RE hasn't seen it yet, but my regular Dr. told me this. He said it looks like I am on about CD9. I already am starting to have mature follicles, and I shouldn't have that on CD3. He's trying to get the images sent over to my RE, so he can personally see them. My regular Dr. just kept saying it doesn't look like I am on CD3.

He gave a couple reasons why. Either they are left over from last cycle, or something to do with my hormones. He couldn't really give me a whole lot of answers, he wants the RE to look at it. I've done a little bit of researching, but really cannot find anything that relates to my situation.

Can anyone give any insight to this?

  • Did you use any fertility drugs this month? I've had residual follicles on the cycles when I responded well to the fertility drugs. Maybe it's just that? Mine usually go away on their own by day 10.

No I have never taken any fertility drugs. I am actually supposed to do a clomid challenge on CD5-9.

  • I don't know but I suppose it's a good thing that you're already working with a RE. I'm sure he'll know what to do.
  • Yeah, I hope so. Thanks!
  • I have never heard of this.  I hope that your RE is able to give you some answers.

  • I'm sorry, but that isn't something I've dealt with.  I'm sure your RE will know what's going on and give some good advice.  I'm 2 hrs away from the RE, so I know how frustrating the distance is, especially when it comes to testing.

  • I don't have any answers either, but please update us when you find out!
  • Thanks everyone. I talked to my RE's nurse this AM and she said the report from my local Dr. said I have a hemorrhagic cyst. He didn't say anything about a cyst when he talked to me. She passed the report on to the RE so just waiting to see what he thinks. Not sure if the images are going to be sent over or not, we shall see!
