So, my FET was today. Both embryos thawed very nicely at 95% (m/c cycle thawed at 85%). RE gave us a 1 in 3 chance of twins (yikes). For a split second, DH almost changed his mind about transferring two, but we did it. One little bugger was stubborn and didn't come out the first go-round so I actually did two transfers today (has anyone had that happen to them??).
We get home and I'm watching Tori and Dean Inn Love and Patrick points to the baby in the show (baby Liam) and says "baby". I said, "yes, that's a baby. Would you like to have a baby?" And Patrick turns around, looks at me and said "Yeah mama, I want two of dems."
Uh oh!!!
Re: We have "two of dems" inside me!!
Snuggle in embies!
4 Fresh IVF cycles + 1 FET where embies didn't survive the thaw = 2 perfect little men!
sFET 11/9/11 - Beta 11/18 BFP!
if one were the type to beat something to a pulp one might chirp up with "sticky ticky" but instead I'll just say "Yeah!" and "GO REST!!!"
3 IUI's, 2 IVF's , 1 FET , 1 IVF w/ Gestational Carrier, and 1 FET using adopted embryo's = ALL BFNs
We are adopting!
SAIF/PAIF IS ALWAYS WELCOMED TO POST IN MY POSTS!!!
Hooray for embies inside of you!
Funny...I transferred 2 when we got pregnant with Jacob. One went in with no issues. And then the embryologist checked the tube and one was still in there. So, we transferred again. Checked the tube again...sure enough...it was still in there! So I actually had 3 transfers!
We always joked that if the baby turned out to be stubborn than that was the one that didn't want to come out of the tube. Sure enough...my stubborn kiddo is sleeping in the next room!
That was my thinking too! If one takes, I am pretty sure that it will be the one "sticky baby". The RE even called it a "sticky baby". That's a good sign, right??
I hope it is a sticky ticky!!!!
I just sat back and thought about it---a tick is a good analogy! Ha Ha!
I shall meditate on "sticky ticky and I don't care you have a d!cky". Ok- bedrest is clearly not good for me!
Yayyyyy! GL and can't wait to hear your beta!
