I was sitting down here in my living room typing up a post asking if I should be worried that Warner, who seems to have a bit of a cold, refused to eat any dinner, but was chugging his milk and water like crazy, but had had a completely dry diaper and it hadn't been changed since around 4pm. DH was upstairs reading to Warner before putting him to bed.
Then I hear DH say urgently, "Becca, I need you to come up here!" and it turns out that Warner had puked all over him and a vast portion of the rug. (btw, this is the final nail in the coffin for that poor rug)
Why is it that my little boy has always been capable of projecting such large quantities of fluid so far?! And he'd been super fussy all night and then was happy as a clam after he puked. He was literally laughing like a crazy person at DH, saying "Daddy puke on!" (that was actually making me laugh like a crazy person...but then I had to clean the floor
)
Re: I hate vomit
It's truly astounding how much puke can come out of their little bodies, isn't it? DD has a cold, and spit up a little bit over the last few days (not like what you're descibing). I think it's phlegm that they've swallowed from their colds.
The worst, by far, is the smell. So, so nasty. Good luck!
there is a nasty stomach bug going around. I had it on Sunday/Monday and it sucked.
my son had it a couple weeks ago. it was awful. projectile vomit all over our persian rug. had to send it to the cleaners. the poor kid ran a nasty fever and puked several times over a 24hr period. it took him several days to get his appetite back.
omg I could had wrote this on New Years Eve. Nate did the same exact thing at dinner and we woke up to him in a huge pile of vomit. He slept in it all night. Didn't phase him a bit apparently but we felt like the worst parents ever. It was just the beginning of the worst stomach bug ever that the entire family caught.
