after a d&c question

My d&c was on January 11, so I am just over two weeks from it. Those of you that are past that point and charting again, did you O before getting your first real AF? I am just curious. For me personally, I will feel a lot better when we can TTC again. I am just really anxious. Thanks for any insight you can give.

I'm sorry we are all going through this. It was one of the hardest things I've ever gone through and no one gets it.

I'm sorry for your loss! I have recently just started charting it has almost been 4 weeks since my D&C and I bled for 3 weeks = From what I hear you may/may not ovulate after your D&C. My doc also told me to wait 2 cycles to try again. HTH!

I don't have any advice to give because I'm in exactly the same boat as you. I had a missed m/c and my D&C was on 1/12. I just wanted to say that you're not alone in feeling this way, b/c I feel the same! (Hugs)

wish I could give you some advice as well but sounds like may be in the same boat, but a week behind you. My D&C was 1/20 and all I can think about sometimes is when will I ovulate, will I get AF in 3-4 weeks, will I ovulate after that, will it be normal cycle, etc. sigh..... My Dr. said to wait one cycle but it seems so far away and so long to wait. I'm glad we are not alone in this.

Hi Danielle,

I had a D&E almost 3 weeks ago and I think I am ovulating now. I've had positive OPKs for several days in a row, with the darkest line yesterday. I've had ovulation pain for the last couple days. It took almost 2 weeks after the D&E for HPTs to be negative. If I count the D&E as CD1, today is CD21. I am so tempted to TTC this cycle because I have tons of EWCM, but I will wait at least until next cycle.

Just wanted to share my experience. Hope it helps, although everyone is different.
