Reading Cashew's post, I think I must have a permanent UTI or the smallest bladder in the world. I pee at least every 2-3 hours during the day, and at least once in the middle of the night, even though I go right before I fall asleep.
When I was pregnant it was ridiculous, it was hourly or more and I woke up every 2 hours overnight.
So, how often do you pee? Am I weird or is this normal? ![]()

Your post title made me laugh!
As for me...I can hold my pee. I am a nurse and have at times had to hold it, so my bladder has learned to be patient at work. I know it's not good for you, but there are times when I just cannot get away! When I'm home,obviously if I drink tons of water, I have to go every couple hours, sometimes every hour.
I drink a lot of water throughout the day, so I pee every hour or 2. I also get up in the middle of the night once in a while. not every night, but it does happen.
when i was PG it was probably every 30-45 mins. Annoying!
How much water/liquids do you drink? If you drink a lot of water, that's totally fine. I find myself peeing on average 6-10 times a day. When I wake up, twice at work, when I get home, and about 3 more times before I go to bed.
You're not weird! If your urine is clear, you're good. And if it's still dark, it might be bc of the vitamins you're taking. Drinking coffee and coconut juice always makes you go more often!

Okay, phew, looks like I am just weird for wanting to talk about pee so much. I do drink a lot of water, and most days I also drink coconut water.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Siggy Warning~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I can go a whole day 7:30 til 5:30 without pee'ing if I'm at work. If I'm home, it's probably every 2-3 hours as well. I always get up in the middle of the night to pee, at least twice.
When I was pregnant, it was every commercial break. We went to Hawaii when I was 8 weeks and had to use the bathroom a dozen times. It wasn't more than a 6 hour flight.
I think you're normal.
I'm a nurse too. I'm lucky if I get to pee twice during my 12 hour shift. On a normal day I probably pee every 3-6 hours depending on what I'm drinking.
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
Very likely just means your kidneys are workin' well hun! If you didn't have good water intake, then I'd be concerned..or if you have strange color, odor or a cloudiness to the urine. Its really not good for you to not urinate often..can lead to problems with bladder, kidneys and increased likelihood of infection.
I say, pee away!
