I finally made the dough and am going to bake it tonight. So it says on their site to bake on a baking stone or cast iron pizza pan, neither of which I own. What would you suggest? I do have cast iron pans. Do you think I should use that? I also have a metal pizza pan with holes in the bottom. Or just a cookie sheet. Thanks! I am clueless! Oh, and I also have a stove top cast iron grill pan that covers two burners, one side is smooth. Maybe that is my best bet?
Re: ? for those who make artisan bread in 5
I don't do artisan bread in 5, but I bake bread on a cookie sheet. I put it in the oven while my bread is proofing. It has come out really well.
I have also read to go get a paving stone at a hardware store to use as a baking stone, but I haven't done it yet.
You can just use a cookie sheet.
I do the artisan bread, but I have a special bake stone with its own heating element for my oven.........
