Kaiya or Keira?

We are considering these two names for our little girl.  DH is one-quarter Japanese, so we'd like to give her a Japanese name, but we also love the name Keira.  Thoughts?

Have you considered Keiko?  It is one of my favorite Japanese names.

I'm not familiar with Kaiya, but I prefer Ciara or Kira over the actress-spelling of Keira.

What about Akira?

ETA: Looks like there was an artist/singer named Kaiya in Japan, and Google says it means 'forgiveness'. If anyone has a more reputable site, could they please share?

Also, OP - is it pronounced Ky uh?
