Crapola. It wasn't a fluke.

DD climbed out of her crib for the first time the other day. Then she didn't do it for a couple of days, because she said it hurt her butt when she fell.

So when she decided her nap was over today, she tossed her Pillow Pet, both blankies and a pile of stuffed critters over the edge and landed on that.

Girl's too smart for her mama's good.

  • at least she was smart enough to create a "soft landing"...my kids weren't nearly so smart and fell right on the floor, head first.  fun times!  have fun bed shopping:)
  • WOW! Now that is one smart little girl! Atleast her butt didn't hurt today!

  • Ugh.  The day they have freedom at 3am is a rough one.  'cause it means no more sleep for the next 2 years.

Neither of mine climbed out, they just got super cranky and needed the freedom.  I miss sleep, but at least now they both just crawl in with us & we can pass out (usually) without having to get up & retrieve anyone.

  • If it makes you feel any better, M did wonderfully (for the most part) with moving to the big girl bed. We've had periods of time where we had issues, but really, her sleep improved. She's world's biggest troublemaker, so it was a surprise she did so well.
