TTC After a Loss

Ovary pain before AF?

I've been having some ovary pains (I'm pretty sure anyway) on both sides intermittently for the last couple days. Nothing really painful, just like a rapid or single twinge-y feeling. I'm pretty sure I O'd about 8 days ago (according to FF) so I'm wondering if any of your experience this before AF?

TIA and Happy Hump (for some more than others ;) ) Day TTCALers!

  • Sometimes this happens to me, it's never fun.

  • I've had all kinds of ovary pain since my loss.  For me, it starts a few days before O and lasts up until AF starts.
    November 2010 - 10.5 week loss  o:)
    October 2011 - DS (7)  <3
    July 2014 - Stillborn DD (24 weeks)  o:)
    August 2015 - DD (3)  <3
    April 2018 - 5 week loss o:)

  • This has happened to me too. I get all kinds of weird pains now, but I've definitely felt pangs from where I assume my ovaries are right before AF.  I always hope it's implantation cramps of some sort. Hope it is for you!

That would be great, but I'm pretty certain there wasn't enough FWPing happening at my house :(

  • I've been having all sorts of little pains with this first cycle.  I'm just trying not to think about them.  Sorry no answers for you, but at least you're not alone.

  • Sometimes I do. Good luck to you!!

  • I've had a lot of ovary twinging  (both sides) since my loss.  Sometimes it's more prevalant (before my period & around O) than other times.  I also get burning on the side I had my surgery-so I'm not sure if that one is ovary pain or phantom tube syndrome.

I just think sometimes our bodies are more sensative after a loss.
