New Mothers Support Group in Bham?

Hi Ladies,

 I just discovered The Bump's local Alabama board! Does anyone know of a new mothers group that meets in the Bham area??

 I have a 4-month-old baby girl and am a stay-at-home mom/full time law student. 

 I feel bad that my little one doesn't get a lot of interaction with other babies! I think it would also be good for me to find some moms I can relate to - I am the first of my friends to have a baby so it gets a little lonely!

You might want to try https://www.meetup.com or your local library and/or Barnes & Noble will often have storytimes each week geared towards certain age groups.

Also at 4 months your daughter likely won't have a need nor a want for the social interaction. At that age, it's usually for the Mommies, but there's nothing wrong with that

Thank you! Reading the board I also noticed there is concern about strangers and get togethers! Do I ever understand that concern!

 Hopefully I will become more of a "regular" on here!

If you find anything let me know.  I am going to be returning to law school in the fall once the little guy is born.  I am the first of my friends to have a baby and would love the interaction from other new moms.
