We do not celebrate Valentines day as a romantic holiday with just the two of us. It's too hard to find a sitter and also get something to eat outside of the house with all the madness. So, every year I make a really nice candlelight dinner with all of us (kids included). It has been our tradition for about 6 years now. I haven't decided on this years dinner menu yet. I am thinking molten lava cakes for dessert though.

We don't go out for Valentine's Day either. We went out once when we were dating and it was HORRIBLE - the restaurant was overcrowded and the service was horrible. We decided that it was much nicer staying in, making a nice meal together and watching a movie.
I will probably be doing all the cooking this year since DD is older and more active. DH can watch her while I cook. I am not sure what I will be making for a meal yet, but I plan on making molten lava cakes for dessert unless DH talks me into strawberry shortcake.
Our wedding anniversary is 2/17. We made a deal when we got married that we wouldn't celebrate VDay because our anniversary was more important. The kids give cards to their school mates and playgroup mate and we do a craft but that's it.
We have always gone out on a different night and made a nice dinner on Valentine's Day. This year we are going to a Milwaukee Buck's game, but it is just a coincidence and not something that we planned for V-day. We usually just exchange cards.
We will spend the day with the kids. I'll make a nice dinner and DH will buy us each our own heart shaped box of Russel Stovers candy. My Dad always did this for us and DH is keeping the tradition going.
We will have a nice dinner at home and watch a movie when the kids go to bed. We don't have a sitter and restaurants on V-day are just too crowded for us.
Who makes the plans? (DH, You, Together?) We usually plan something together, but it always depends on the weather (our 1st Valentine's Day together he had to plow snow and I went with him. Very romantic, lol.)
What will you be doing on V-day this year? No idea!

aww I love this!
No plans. We both HATE to go out of V-day. Too crowded and the service stinks.
We go out either a week or 2 before or a week or 2 after..........I usually make the reservations.
On V-day we always do take-out, open a bottle of wine and watch a movie.

Do you and your DH (SO) have plans? So far, nope.
