We switched Lucas from Enfamil Premium to Sim Sensitive on Sunday afternoon. He didn't poop at all Monday, and all yesterday the poor kid was super constipated. Crying while he was trying to push something out, turning red, the whole nine yards. He finally pooped at night, started out really hard and I had to push his legs to his chest to help him get the rest out and it eventually got softer. He pooped normally this morning- yay! So my question is- did your baby stay constipated on the sensitive, or just from the switch? I can't stand seeing him in pain like that, so I'll have to reevaluate with this pedi if it something that will keep happening.

Re: if you switched to similac sensitive
We BF and suppliment. We orignially tried Similac Neosure because DD was a preemie, but it made her EXTREMELY gassy and she didn't poop for 4 days. Then we switched over to Similac Sensitve and haven't had a problem since. Less gas + poop = much happier baby.
