Babies on the Brain

I could just cry

I left my pump at work this afternoon. That means what I pumped this morning=down the drain. This will be the first time I'll have to throw any out. I'm not sure I'm going to be able to do it- DH might have to pour it down the drain.

I won't be able to pump tonight=no milk for tomorrow, so I'll have to take out of my fastly dwindling freezer stash. I don't produce a lot, so this is such a huge deal to me. Not to mention, this will be me in the morning:

This blows. ::end of pity party::

  • Do you pump exclusively?  There is no way I could go from the afternoon to the following morning without pumping/nursing.  Not to mention my supply would totally tank.  Can you at least hand express or run out and get a manual?

  • I'd try to hand express if you can.  I used to do it in a pinch.  It works.

No, only in the mornings and after K goes to bed- enough to get about 3/4 of what she needs for the next day. I'm going to have to hand express and pray my supply doesn't tank anymore than it is already. I just feel so idiotic for leaving it there.
