WWYD?

So DD usually drinks anywhere's from a 6-8oz bottle before bedtime but for some reason tonight, she decided she would only drink 1 oz and that was it!

She's been in bed for an hour and I was hoping that she would wake up so I could feed her some more but she's still asleep. If she's not up by the time I go to bed, I'm debating on trying to "dreamfeed" or just letting her be and hope she still STTN. WWYD? TIA!

Re: WWYD?

  • DS has been doing the same thing recently. I have found that if he is hungry he will wake on his own about an hour before I go to bed. If he isn't hungry he sleeps all night. If your LO doesn't usually fight going back you sleep you could dreamfeed. DS wakes, eats and gets immediately tired again (he has never dreamfed...he always wakes up 100%). We are able to put him back down in his crib and he goes right back to sleep.

  • I would let her sleep.  She will let you know when she's hungry.

  • Well I'm happy to say she just woke up and so I went in and gave her a full bottle which she drank! lol Now to see if she will fall asleep.. She's in her crib not making any noise but when I put her down, she wasn't sleeping so we shall see. At least i'm happy she is going to sleep with a full belly!

  • DD always has her last bottle (6oz) right before bed. I gave it to her around 6:30 tonight (the usual time) and she only wanted 2oz. She fell asleep and i fed her while sleeping and she finished the bottle. I knew if i didn't do that then she'd wake up in the night for a bottle and screw up her "schedule".
