After a D&C.....

Hello everyone

I am so sorry to read all your very sad stories my heart goes out to each and everyone of you.  I myself had a mis-carriage in Nov (thats when we found out but the Dr. said it happened sometime middle of Oct.)  I was 8 weeks along.  I had a D&C procedure November 10.  I got what I thought was my period Dec. 14 and it was a little bit heavier than before but I was told that was to be expected.  Since then I have not gotten my period.  I was wondering if any of ladies were experiecing this long of an abnormality (meaning not getting your period 'regularly')  I was going to make an appointmet with the doctor to make sure everything is ok but I don't want to jump to any conclusions that something is wrong.

I am so sorry for your loss. I think I am experiencing my first period after my D&C (28 days after). Mine is the oppose, pretty light. I am shocked I got mine so soon b/c I was anywhere from 32-40 day cycles before. I was very concerned to have gotten one so soon. I wouldn't worry about it, unless you are feeling effects from not getting it. I am thinking that it is different for everyone. I would wait 8 weeks and if you don't get a period call your Dr, she/he may give you something to induce one. That is what mine told me - if after 8 weeks it doesn't come on to call.
