If you had side effects from Clomid

When did they start? From the first day or later on? What were they?

I'm just curious.  And I'm procrastinating because there is a pile of work sitting on my desk that I am dreading

I had very very few hot flashes. Not enough to bother me though. I was on 50 mg, so maybe that's why.

I finished my last clomid pill on the 20th. The only side effect I had was massive headaches starting on the last day of taking clomid and lasting for 3 days. No more symptoms so far though.

 Thumbs down for the pile of work, I work in accounting so I know how you feel!

I was on 50 mg days 3-7.  Hot Flashes started on the 2nd or third night of taking the 50mg.  The first month I had a debilitating migraine that started the day I took the last pill and then lessened the next day.  I do not usually have migraines and did not have that side effect the next month.  The first month I O'd late by 4 days, but by the 2nd month things were back to normal.  I suspect that my MC was due to a too thin lining from Clomid this last time, but that could be bunk.  My Dr. only looked at follies, not lining thickness.  Yes, I am now moving onto someone else with different methods and a totally different protocol for me.  It no longer seems that getting pg. is my problem, rather staying that way!

Both times I took clomid I got mild headache's a few days after taking my last pill. I also got hot flashes in my sleep during and for a few days after. Not sure if this is even a known side effects but I peed a lot more while taking clomid especially at night.

 

I'm procrastinating too. ;0)

I had really bad nausea with 100mg but it didnt start until 2 weeks after my last pill.  The drug can hang around for up to 6 weeks after your last pill and so can the side effects.

I already told you but skin broke out all cycle long. Other than that just mood swings pretty much all cycle long lol.

The first day I was on 50mgs I started getting hot flashes, and the second or third day I got really, really, really bloated. The hot flashes went away as soon as I stopped taking it, and I'll let you know when the bloat goes away. (kidding, although seriously it did take me about a week to feel totally normal).

50 mgs - every morning I felt hung over - headache, not appetite

Starting the 3rd day I had hot flashes and restless sleeping (probably due to hot flashes).

I was on 150 mg had headaches and severe back pain-but femara and injectables ave done the same to me despite tthe docs saying there are less side effects with femara.

I took 200mg and was a raging b!tch from down under.  The hot flashes and moodiness lasted for weeks after I finished the last pill (which did not cause me to ovulate).  I read somewhere online that the s/e can last 40-45 days.  100 and 150 were minor league compared to the 200 but the s/e for the lower doses stayed with me until the end of the cycle.

My first round I took 100mg clomid. I was dizzy and felt faint starting on day 1 but not till the end of the day. It got progressively better and ended about 7 days later. The second and third rounds of 100 I didnt have too many side effects, mostly just "spacy" or a cloudy head. I stayed that way for about a week as well. On 150 mg I had really bad hot flashes and the same cloudy, out-of-it feeling that lasted about 10 days. HTH
