Drop-side crib - what to do with it?

Our drop side crib was not part of the recall (it's a Sorelle) and we were confident that it was assembled correctly with tight bolts etc., so we continued to use it.

We recently moved our son to a toddler bed, so I'm wondering if I can donate or sell the crib, or if I just need to trash it.  Part of me is wary of donating or selling it, since I don't want to feel responsible for someone else using and assembling it properly.  Not to mention I'm not sure it's even an option (legally or practically).

Any thoughts or advice?

I would get rid of it, and I don't mean sell or donate it. I'm not even sure if you could legally sell it at this point.

We gave ours away on craigs.  It wasn't part of the recall so why not?

We're using our Sorelle drop side crib again with no worries.  We will probably just have to trash it after we're done with it though.  I too wouldn't feel comfortable with donating or selling it.

You could always turn it in at one of BRU recycle/upgrade days for a 25% off coupon.  That is, if you have a place to store it until then.

We just got a circular from BRU and their trade in days start on Friday, Jan 28th!

Thanks!  Had no idea about the trade in days.  Can the 25% off only be used at BRU or can it be used at TRU too?
