Toddler terrible for me when shopping but not dh? Normal?

I never take dd shopping alone, since she either whines/screams/begs for food from my purse, etc.  When DH take her out or is home with her she is perfect.  Just got back from Target with dd, thought I would give it a try and she begged for snacks from my purse, screamed if she didnt get them, gave in when checking out since I was getting too many stares, and when I took them away before getting in the car she threw a tantrum and is still screaming about it...is it me???

The only solution to this is to make your DH do all the shopping from now on.  All of it.

DH took DS shopping for the FIRST time a couple weeks ago and said he was an angel. They had FUN. WTH? DS is a monster everytime we go to the store. The only way I can shop peacefully is if I get him a happy meal before we go.
