Aaron is close to Adrian in size. What size are you buying for Aaron for summer? I bought Adrian 3T for summer since he can already wear 2T now, although the pants are still long on him. I don't know if 3T will be too big though, but I have no idea how much A will grow in the next 5 months, he's already about 30 lbs. What do you think, should I keep the clothes or exchange them for 2T?

Anyone else with a big 17 month old, feel free to answer

Aaron has slowed down in comparison to Adrian.  He was 26 lb 8 oz at 15 months and I don't think he's gained more than a pound or two.  He's wearing 24 month clothing for the most part--and they are big on him (but 18 month is too small). I haven't bought anything for Summer and wont' until the Springtime.  I have no clue what size he'll be, but I'm guessing 2T.

It's funny, I don't buy ahead of seasons because I'm afraid to be stuck with clothes that don't fit.  Carter's or Old Navy (online) usually has enough stuff at the correct season (at a reasonable price) for me to buy as needed.  Plus I'm very lucky in that my SIL saved everything my nephews (7 and 5) wore and my cousin's son is almost exactly 1 year older than Aaron and she's giving me stuff now.

Yeah, the only reason I bought ahead is b/c I had some coupons and the deals were too good to pass up. I suppose I can wait a little and exchange clothes later on, or just return them. Maybe the pedi can plot his growth on the chart and give me a guesstimate of how big Adrian will be by summer. He's not growing as fast as before either, I think they slow down after 18 months. But you never know, Adrian outgrew his winter pjs in three months!

Finn is very tall, around 35 inches, and about 27 pounds. He is wearing 24 months now but there growing will slow down dramatically. Noah is really big for his age and wears 4t now but he still fit into 3T during the summer. 

2T should be fine for summer for Finn. Old Navy runs really small for my kids but everything else should be good. Finn is about to move into 24 month pj's or even 2T pj's now cause 18 month are getting a bit short.
