SIL had her IUI on 1/11. Today is 14dpiui. It's cd30. She usually doesn't start AF past cd29/30. She's sooooooo scared to POAS. So I've got a couple of questions for you to help me with.
1.) Can triggering delay your AF from coming? Since you're forcing something to happen before it might naturally?
2.) She was on estrogen patches. Can that delay AF from starting normally?
These are things she's scared of...she really doesn't want to get a BFN and THEN get AF afterward...she said it will feel like being punched in the face twice.
Any insight? I didn't do either of these things so I can't give her educated advice. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :-)
Re: Question about testing after IUI.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

With my 2 IUI BFNs my AF arrived right on time and was not delayed at all but I was not on estrogen patches. If I was her I would test. I hope she gets good news!!!
It wasn't in the 2ww when she was on the estrogen...it was cd8-14. So would that impact anything?
