DH and I are having such a hard time agreeing on a girl's name... and we are team green, so need to have something ready!

 

The one name we can remotely agree on in Matilda Jane.... but I know this is a brand of children's clothing.  We would call her Mattie.  and Jane is after my mother who passed away so MN not negotiable.  What do you think... is this even that well known of a brand?  would you keep looking?

Matilda Jane sounds precious.  I've never heard of that brand.  My vote is to go for it!

I've never heard of Matilda Jane as a clothing brand. It's a sweet combo, though!

I've never heard of the brand either.  Love the name!!  Not a fan of the nick name simply because there are tons and tons of Madisons and Madelines/Madalyns, etc. running around with that nick name.  I think a PP's suggestion of Tillie is very cute.

I didn't know about it, and when I did a search, her brand looks fairly new. I'd had to lose a name you agree on because of an obscure clothing line. Her business might not even be around forever.

I actually just saw matilidajane.com today for the first time b/c of a friend's post on FB!  The little girl designs are super adorable and so is the name!  Go for it! Good luck!
