? I don?t know if I?ve a favorite doctor - I?m lucky I really do like them all of course. They?re all nice. I do however hope that my last one seen is not on duty when I have LO. She?s still on my mind as being pushy so I would prefer one of the others to deliver LO if possible.

I had (my first) internal exam done today which did hurt some but not as bad as I thought it might. He?d already told me there?s going to be some discomfort, spotting or bleeding afterward when I check your cervix - sorry! No dilation or efface was detected - noted. This appointment too went well even with my discomfort due to the internal otherwise - even with this hurting I had and am now still experiencing some discomfort even now that I?m home - having some spotting is noted at home now. He did however also say - ?stay on your iron tablets once daily? - again he said you need the extra for the remainder of your pregnancy. That makes sense. He also said you have not got any problems with your iron count it?s still very good so this is just a precaution for you and LO. We want you to have a smooth delivery when your time arrives ? that?ll be sooner than you think now. As he left he said ? y?all take care now; so until next week - then.

I was glad hearing - it?s getting shorter - delivery that is; but, I was hoping he?d take me off those iron tablets or at least say every other day but surely not that I?m back on those awful tasting tablets daily.

I?m really, really getting quite anxious to see that LO then hold him/her in my arms.

Oh! We?ve been given a new nephew -

SIL had her baby (a boy) this past Saturday afternoon at 4:55 pm - two days early at 39 weeks - 5 days. He was due today. She was ready though with a problem she?d been having these last two weeks - then her being put on bed rest in her last appointment this last week (5 days) before delivering. Fred and I went to see them after church yesterday - met our new nephew - ?Steven Foster?. Well he?s so handsome - not like my brother ? JK. He does have brother?s eyes, mouth; and Ruth?s nose, ears, forehead and hair. Like I said he?s cute, handsome, and precious just so little. Maybe not so little he weighted 7 lbs, 12 oz. at 21-1/2 inches long. Well gotta go - ?til next time!!!

7lbs 12oz is big? That's very average, actually.
