I posted on my FB status that always fear that I have masitis when I am feeling under the weather... and a former teacher of mine, who is a man... said he has felt my pain and sympathizes?! Whaaaaaaa? Can a dude get mastitis?!

Maybe he just meant he always fears the worst when he feels under the weather (or thinks he has a certain illness)???

Really? I guess I just think about it like any other illness. I never would even have considered that it could be TMI.

Can I ask what exactly you all find TMI about it? The illness part or that it starts in the boobs?

*shrug* I don't think it's tmi, and I had a friend post about i on facebook, and I never breastfed so I had no idea what it was.

You're talking about your boobs.  Yeah.

You may as well say your boobs hurt.  It's not quite the same as saying your leg hurts.

I see what you're saying, I guess. But mastitis is so much more horrific than just sore boobs! As a matter of fact, when I had it, my boobs didn't actually hurt.
