Want to hear about my blind date?

Because it was AWESOME! It was set up through a friend - we emailed back and forth all last week and talked on the phone on Friday for 3.5 hours. He also 'friend requested' me on Facebook so we got to see a bit about each other. So he shows up at the door Saturday with a little gift back with Gertrude Hawk chocolates in it - I had posted a long time ago on FB that I LOVE their Smidgens.

We went to the restaurant - he opened all the doors, got us a nice seat toward the back (away from the door because it was freezing that night) and we were there for 4 hours. He paid the bill and gave a 40% tip because we were there so long. My girls were having a sleepover at a friends so I invited him in for a drink and we just had tea/coffee and talked another 2 hours.

On his way out he asked if we could do this again and asked me to thank our mutual friend for setting this up. The next morning he even sent her a super sweet email thanking her and said the night felt like it flew by and was only an hour (it was 6 total). He is so sweet and thoughtful - two things I am definitely not used to! We are trying to figure out when we can meet up sometime this week - the weekend is out and I have some interviews to schedule around during the week.

I feel like I'm 17 again and am all giddy!
