Sleep progress

Knocking on wood...2 nights in a row we didn't have to go to her.

At bedtime I told Sienna "If you wake up at night mommy & daddy are not going to get you because we will be so tired & asleep. Your dolly will hold your sippy cup for you, so tell dolly thank you, have some water & tell her goodnight & go back to sleep". She did get up & was able to fall asleep on her own. the first night she fussed for around 45 min, last night I didn't even hear her.

And no, I didn't hear her thanking the doll or telling her goodnight. LOL If she did this I wouldn't be able to fall asleep because I'd laugh all night.

That is really quite creative. She is such a smartie that explaining the situation was probably the best thing you could have done. Hopefully, she will try to stay quiet for you! I would keep reminding her of what you said every night. Good luck!
