Hamburger caserole: Brown ground beef, make noodles, poor spaghetti sauce over and top with cheese.
Taco Salad
Sweedish meatball caserole: Cook small meatballs, make noodles, pour over cream of mushroom soup (you are suppose to put sour cream in, but I don't care for the taste so I leave it out) and you can either serve right away, or put it in the oven to let it thicken a little.
Porccupine Meatballs: Ground beef, and I think it's a 1/2 cup minute rice (not cooked) for a pound of beef, season and mix together. Roll into meatballs. Place meatballs in a smaller stock pot on the stove. Pour 2-3 cans of tomato soup over top and a little water. I think they cook about an hour to an hour an a half.
Cheeseburger macaroni--brown the beef with chopped onions, add a can of petite diced tomatoes, 2 cups of cooked macaroni, and 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until cheese melts, and then add more cheese on top. Mmmm. :-)
I usually make it with ground turkey (or extra lean beef), Barilla Plus pasta, and 2% cheese to make myself feel a little better. LOL. But it's great comfort food.
I am making enchiladas tonight with turkey meat instead. Its one of our favorite meals. I just use the McCormick packet from the grocery store and tomato sauce, so yummy!!
Re: I have a lb of ground beef, what should I make
Meatball sandwiches sound good to me.
I was going to suggest meatball subs as well.
