Immitation crab meat

I have an extra package of this in my fridge. What are things you make with this other than crab salad?

  • Sushi!  I make it with rice and nori (obviously), avocado and cream cheese.

  • Crab cakes!  I use a basic recipe from my BH&G cookbook, but add some dijon and worcestershire.  The key is to use panko instead of regular bread crumbs

  • I also use it for crab cakes.  I think real crab meat is too rich in them.

     

     

  • I'm going to have to try making crab cakes with this sometime!  Sounds yummy!  Everytime I try to make crab salad I screw it up somehow.  I'm a good cook, salads just aren't my forte I guess.
