Happy Monday! Today starts a new week so if you haven't been getting in those workouts, begin fresh today! I am on D15, L2. I cannot believe I am at the halfway point "to being totally shredded". I am going to take a midpoint measurement today and compare my numbers to where they were on D1. I am hopeful because I have been getting a lot of comments lately from friends and family about how I look. I can definitely see a difference in my stomach when I take a look in the mirror. I have gotten up the courage yet to try on my goal pants because I don't think I am quite there yet but I am well on my way!
I also have one last piece of hopeful motivation. Sometimes I think I get consumed by the numbers and pant size but this weekend I received the results of my recent blood work from my yearly physical. My cholesterol dropped to the optimal level. My doctor attributes this to my new healthy eating and workout lifestyle. I need to keep in mind that what is visible on the outside of my body is only half of the reward...what is going on within my body is the other half and it's that part that will keep me healthy for a long time to come...even after I spill something on my white goal pants and have to throw them away!

Thanks so much for all of your motivational words--they help!
I stayed home from work sick today, but actually felt better than I did yesterday and I didn't skip Shredding then, so I definitely couldn't give myself permission to skip today! It went pretty well, but I replaced the walking push-ups with regular ones (I can do 15 before I have to resort to girly ones now!) because the walking ones seem easier to me somehow. I'm getting closer and closer to being able to keep up, but still have to take at least 2 or 3 small breathers during the workout. It's tough!

D8 L1 for me today and going strong. I am happy with myself that I haven't missed a day yet. Today was my weigh/measurement day. I was a little upset to see a 1.8lb increase but I lost a total of 2 inches. The main drop was in my arms and hips. This week I'm going to focus on eating healthier and responsibly. I have always had issues with "snacking" at night.
