Intro from the Sept board

Hi ladies,

I'm coming over from the Sept 2011 board.  I found out Friday that I have a blighted ovum, and I'm still waiting to miscarry naturally (even though the jerk of a doctor I saw Friday actually told me that he wanted me to get a D&C "because he doesn't like to get up in the middle of the night with people who are miscarrying").  I was 6w 6d. 

To make things even more fun, my BIL's wedding was yesterday, and hardly anyone knew about the pregnancy so I had to put up with people telling me to smile and acting like I was being a grump all day.  Ugh.

I'm so sorry for all of your losses, and I am glad this board exists so we can all support each other!

    My little one was going to be a September baby too. I'm very sorry for your loss.

    Can I just be a little blunt here and say, find another doc! I would have smacked him! (evidently, I'm in the "anger" phase of grief lately)

    I will definitely not be using him in the future!  I go to a big practice that has midwives and docs, and I was planning on using the midwives but the only u/s appt they had that week was with the doc, but I will absolutely not see him again.

    i was supposed to be on on the Sept board as well.   I'm sorry your doctor was so insensitive and that you are hurting right now.

    Good for you! What a jerk! Super Angry You should report him to some sort of administration!

    I am so sorry for your loss honey, but I am happy that you are here.  ~big hugs~

     I am also 100% support getting a new doctor too.  I went to my primary care who was so supportive when my Dr was being an a**.  You deserve soo much better than that.  (especially now)

    I am so sorry for your loss.  The ladies on this board are wonderful and when you are ready again to try the ladies over on TTCAL are wonderful as well.

    I am so sorry for your loss.  The ladies on this board are wonderful and when you are ready again to try the ladies over on TTCAL are wonderful as well. 

    ITA. We are TTA until after RPL b/w, but I have found the TTCAL ladies to be super helpful and supportive. This board is too, but it is slow at times.

    I'm so sorry for your loss.  Your doc is a jerk- hope you will be able to avoid him even if you still use that practice.
