Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss

intro - back to back CPs

hello - i have just experienced my second chemical pregnancy in a row.  i'm trying to process these losses and was hoping you could offer advice on how to get through this.  i feel somewhere in the middle because i know there could be greater loss than a pregnancy that is only couple of weeks old but then i feel so confused and depressed.  thanks..

Re: intro - back to back CPs

  • My best piece of advice is to really lean on your DH. You two are the ones who know how to comfort each other best. I'm terribly sorry for your losses, and I hope that you find healing quickly.

Understand that this is not your fault, and that sometimes - we just don't have all the answers. Your babies are resting peacefully and know that they are greatly loved.

    Big hugs to you, dear.

  • I am so sorry honey ~big hugs~

My best advice is to talk about it, and stay connected and close to your DH.  Those are the only things that have got me through the tough times.

  • I am so sorry for your losses.  The best advice I can give you is try and find a local support group.  This will help you in talking with others who have experiened a loss as well and you won't feel so alone.  Also this board is wonderful for support as well.  Good luck to you.  ((hugs))

  • I am sorry for your losses. Have you been to your dr. yet?  I believe my losses could have been considered CPs (but I could be wrong. My dr. called them natural m/cs, but a loss is a loss no matter the label, right?) and my dr. is now monitoring me closely.

Your feelings are normal. I have had a rollercoaster of emotions these past few months. I have found my DH, mother, two best friends, this board, and TTCAL to be a great support.  HTH!

  • Just wanted to say hi and send you virtual hugs.  I hate that you're going through this.  (Stating the obvious) it's not fair.
