I do believe it's neh-VAY-uh.

But ChoicesMom (or something like that....) has a daughter named Choice Nevaeh. She'd know for sure.

I am even more confused by Nevaeh Tnes, which I have seen more than once. 

T-nez? T'nez rhymes with Ines? Is the T silent? Huh? Yea, Heaven Sent spelled backwards. Really kre8tiv. And wasn't there a horrible teenybopper perfume with that name awhile back? 

 

And as a teacher I am now seeing Nevaeh be "uniquified" with spellings like Nyvaeh, Navayah, etc. (Mostly middle names, mostly kindergarten-2nd gradeish).

Most people do pronounce it Nevaeh, despite the questionably vowel content, but I have also heard at least two people use it as neh-VAY, which is probably more phonetically correct. Eh, whatever, it's still a stupid gimmick.
