Me and my fiance debate baby names alot (we are not pregnant yet, just enjoy the discussion) My daughters name is Jordynn and I like it because its unisex and spelled different. My fiance wants our next daughter to be named Bentley (maybe spelled Bentlee) and though I love the name, I think its a boy name.
Anybody have an opinion as to whether that is a boy or girl name??
I want something different for a girl, which Bentley would be different...but is it a little too different?? (and might I add, her last name would be Bryant)
Re: Bentley boy or girl?
When I hear Bentley, I think boy. A very trendy boy name at that.
I think boy. Trailer park boy.
I hope this is mud.
This. Trailer all the way.

PhilsWife: I LOVE the picture in your signature! It is so sweet!
I cannot wait to have one in a few months!
Thank you! You'll love having two! DS1 and DS2 already have so much fun together. :-)
I think Bentley Bryant sounds like a comic book character. (like Peter Parker or Lois Lane) Not a good combo IMO.
I've never met anyone with the name so I don't know which gender I think it should be.
Ditto 1000xs
Me too. But not spelled Bentlee!!!!! That's for sure!
That is awesome!!
lol, unless you have a Ph.D, I'm willing to bet I have more of an education then you.

It's a car.
And spelled Bentlee, it's a misspelled car.
I did not say that you are uneducated, its the impression that the name gives (on top of the fact that you have already misspelled one of your children's names). Sorry if you think I'm rude, but you did ask a bunch of internet strangers for their opinions, so I will "feel free" to post what my opinion is.
Based on your grammar, I'd bet that Ph.D isn't in English? If it is, you might want to consider asking for a refund. Just saying!

I don't care what your PhD is in, if you truly had one you wouldn't start a sentence with 'me and my fiance'. Just saying. And alot is two words - a lot.
I wasn't even going to go there...but I'm glad somebody did!
