Favor ideas?

Wondering if any one has cute favor ideas?  I am having twins (boy and girl) and my invitations had a blue elephant and a pink elephant on them.  Im having trouble finding favors that are cute and wont end up in the garbage after the shower is over!!

Edible ones are always good.  My mom did little picture frames for mine which were very cute.

Edible favors always work well.  Maybe something like these cookies, some pink and some blue.  You can put them in a clear favor bag and tie it with cute ribbon.

agreed!!!  I'm in cleaning mode today and you have no idea how many little trinkets I have from showers/weddings that I feel to guilty to throw away!!  I never use coasters with other people pictures!!  lol!! SO totally food!!  maybe you can find ribbon with elephants on it and tie candy bags/ cookie bags with it?

pink and blue m and m's in little cello bags (the kind you wrap chocolate lollis in)tied with pink and blue

white chocolate dipped pretzel rods with pink and blue sprinkles

find a local bakery to make "blue and white" cookies instead of black and whites and individually wrap in cello bags

Edible.  I have never kept favors that were not edible.  Thrown them away as soon as I get home, or sooner.

At my friend's baby shower, the favor was 2 nice tea bags in a cellophane bag.   The tag said "A baby is brewing"

I prefer the edible ones.  A couple of little cookies in cellophane bags tied with a ribbon with a little "thank you ..." attached.   The tea bag idea is nice as well - "the babies are brewing" - cute.

Do a candy buffet with all kinds of pink and blue candy and bags to fill. They always go over well.

Mike and Sharon are super sweet and can even customize the wrapper of the soap with a picture!  They have a wide range of soaps and scents to chose from, even those for sensitive skins.  They are all hand made (some girlfriends and I went and made our own with Mike one night!) Check them out...

I made these chocolate covered oreos for a friends baby shower last week. Super easy and look nice. You could do a pink one and a blue one!

To go with the elephant theme, how about peanuts in the shell? The kind you get at a ball game?

You can put them in clear bags, tie half of them with blue ribbon and half with pink ribbon.

Just an outside-the-box thought.  HTH.

I made these for my friend's shower and they were a huge hit. You could do blue and pink elephants instead of onesies. You could make them (with royal icing) or buy them. I do sell them on my website (link in siggy) but I'm not sure where you live.
