Yesterday I was "lazy"

Last night about 10:30 I was so. done.  I was very tired and I didn't know why.  I had been so lazy! We didn't end up going to dance class that morning because DS#1 didn't come back from BIL's house until 12:30, and then (I'm guessing he stayed up really late) he passed out around 6:30 or so.  So I felt like I didn't have to do a lot with/for him.

Then I realized I was on crack.

I did 3 loads of laundry, folded and put away.

2 loads of dishes

went for a walk with both kids

worked out

baked muffins from scratch

cooked dinner

read a chapter in my book

took out the trash

and then of course I changed a bunch of diapers, fed bottles and baby food.

Yeah - lazy my butt! LOL  When I started thinking about EVERYTHING I did, well um - no wonder I was tired, haha!

Re: Yesterday I was "lazy"

  • Haha...sometimes I have those semi lazy mornings as well and then feel guilty and kick it into high gear in the afternoon.  I think we probably do deserve a real lazy day every so often though!

  • I often feel lazy, especially in the mornings.  I usually hang out with ds until about 9:30 when I finally hop in the shower (thank you Elmo's World for keeping ds out of trouble while I do this.  Then I realize that by that point I've already cleaned up the kitchen twice, once from whatever dh left for me the night before, once from breakfast, cooked breakfast, vacuumed, made the bed, baked something if I decided to that day, and organized whatever random crap is laying around.
