I've just went off birth control pills, and looking for an OB doctor in Hamilton County. We live in Noblesville, but I don't want to go to Riverview Hospital as I've heard a lot of horror stories of people's experiences. Please recommend your doctor and your experience with them. Thanks so much as this is starting to stress me out.
Re: OB Doctor in Hamilton County?
Dr. Moon was my OB. She's great but is booked all the time and is always running behind so count on a wait for appointments. Dr. Denman did my c-section b/c she was on call when I went into L&D and she really was awesome. Both are at Women's Health Alliance. GL!
I actually switched from Women's Health Alliance to Via ObGyn at Community North because I wasn't happy. I see Dr. Amy Hayes now and I have been nothing but pleased with her and her practice.
Dr. Denman at WHA was my prior OB and she delivered by son. I cannot recommend her.
I highly recommend Associates in Women's Health in the medical office building at Clarian North (soon-to-be IU Health North tomorrow)...Dr. Star is my OB, and he is great (he will deliver his own patients even if he's not on-call, except if he's on vacation). Dr. Weber, Dr. Hurry, and another OB (I can't remember her name) are all wonderful as well.
I work in a NICU, and I've heard mixed things about WHA (the practice Dr. Flora is in). I've never had them as my practice though.
TTC #2 since 9/09 --- mild PCOS; Endometriosis
IUI x4 = BFN
IVF = sometime in 2012
I go to Lifetime Obgyn, and will be delivered at St V Women's. My OB is Dr Gates (see linky) and he's beyond awesome.
With my prior pregnancy I was at St V Carmel/Dr. Teter, but was rushed to St. V Women's in an emergency so I could be close to their NICU. I saw all of the OBs while I was on high risk for 2 weeks and loved all of them. My son spent 17 weeks in their NICU and we can't say enough good things. I did my follow-up with that practice, and never looked back. I am there with #2 and feel like I'm in good hands.
