Sunday Shredding Check In

So sorry for the missed post yesterday...We lost power almost all day!  I had to Shred from memory...boo!

Anyway, today was the 4th day of Level 2 for me and I am still mostly hanging with Anita. I did manage to get some of those double jump ropes in today but really felt like I was going to have a heart attack!  I also do not think I am doing that last ab move correctly bc I don't find it that challenging (which means I am deinitely doing something wrong since I am always dying with these moves!)

I know the weekends can be hard ladies (and gents...I think there may be a few guys Shredding with us) but try your best to fit it in today...20 minutes and you are done!!!

Re: Sunday Shredding Check In

  • Good job with doing it even though your power went out!!  That's awesome!  After a 2 day hiatus, I did D4, L1 last night and I was pleasantly surprised at how much easier it was just after such a short time of doing it.  I made it through all of it only skipping 1 or 2 pushups.  I'm excited to do D5 tonight!!

  • Ditto your comment about not doing the last ab move correctly! If Jillian calls it intense and I'm doing it pretty easily, I assume I'm doing it wrong! :) Does anyone else find the walkout push-ups on L2 to be easier than just plain push-ups? I wonder why I find that easy, too. Those jump and twist moves, on the other hand, are evil! ETA: Just did L2 for the 6 th day and it's still really hard for me, but even having a cold and feeling lethargic, I noticed I'm able to keep up a little better each time. I did crunches in place of the last ab exercise since those feel like they're doing more for me. I'm not really sore anymore...anyone else noticing this? Does that necessarily mean it's less effective of a workout?
  • I haven't shredded in 3 days! I hate it but I've done some serious damage to my knees. I can barely make it up the stairs :( I took a break to give my knees a chance to get better but I feel like they've gotten worse. I never had any problems with my knees before I started the 30 day shred.
