This is the first picture of Kate and I. Since I was under general for my c-section, I didn't meet her until she was 5 or 6 hours old.
All I remember is that I kept saying "OMG she is so beautiful. Is she really mine? I cannot get over how pretty she is!"
I think this is the only one that I'm certain is from the day he was born (versus another day in the hospital) but I do love it. This was the first time I saw/held him, fresh out the oven!
Our first family photo. Not really a birthday photo because we didnt get Ethan til 24 hrs after his birth. But this still tops my list.
I look baaaad, but man, was I happy (and Ava was gross!).
Besides the one I posted below, here's my first glimpse of them together. I was craning my neck so hard, trying to get a peek.
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
This is beautiful! I love the lighting and the fact that his little eyes are open!!
This one was a day later... but it still shows my little peanut and reminds me of how small they were when they were born... (yeah I look like crap in both.. see previous post if you want to see a picture of me looking relatively human lol)
My siggy- I love that picture and haven't brought myself to change it.
She was born at 9:52am and I think this picture was taken at 1pm.
Married 8.13.2005, M/C 12/8/06- 5 weeks, M/C 2/27/07- 7 weeks, M/C w/ D&C 8/10/09-6.5 weeks *Charles Lawrence born 5/2/08 @ 3:14am, 7lb 8oz, 20.5 inches. Clomid, Crinone and baby aspirin. *Alexandra Claire born 9/14/10 @ 9:52am 6lb 14oz, 20.5 inches. Femara, Crinone and baby aspirin.
Loving all these pics. Makes me teary eyed.
My favorite is hard to pick (as I'm sure it is for all of us), a tie between this one:

I LOVE these! I don't have a single pic of me and both twins during our entire four-night stay at the hospital. I guess when YOU'RE the one who always takes the pics, that's what happens!
The closest I can get is a pic from when we got home (no makeup, hair air dried, and looking ridiculously anemic, but at least I was showered!).

This was taken about 20 hours after they were born, we weren't allowed to hold them until the next day.
this is a HORRIBLE pik b/c it was taken off the vid cam (and THIS was a screen shot from my blog at that) but it was the very 1st moment I met Ava. RIGHT when I lifted her up from my legs and our eyes locked, and I said "hi honey!" and my life was saved and changed forever.

okay...i just started blubbering, because i didn't even get to see the boys except at a distance in the OR after they were born, then i didn't see them except in pictures for 3 days
so i don't have that with them...sigh

You look amazing for having just had a c/s, and what a sweet pic! Love all the others too! And Gypsy, I know what you mean about Toodle looking like Toodle. It's weird how much he looks like himself in some of those early pics.

So I posted the first pic wtih Jordana on the other thread!
Well this one is first one with Brady. He was born at 8:35am but since i had general I was the LAST one to meet him or hold him. I finally was awake from surgery at about 11am but they wouldn't bring me upstairs right away since I woke up with the freaking breathing tube in my mouth. My mom handed me the baby and I was pretty upset to learn that the nurses against my wishes let anyone and everyone hold him. I was so exhausted from the surgery I could barely keep my eyes open, I am literally opening my eyes as wide as I can here to stay awake because I just wanted to be with my baby!

Oh hon, I'm so sorry. I can't even imagine having been able to open this post when I was at the stage you are at. Hoping with all of my being that you get to experience a happy birthing experience, and remembering your sweet boys.
Ah, Cookie... while I cannot compare pains, I've had plenty of that too. All I can do is pull up the quote ol' Reems throws around.... "No one said it would be easy, but they do promise it'll be worth it."

I am just so sorry. I can't even begin to imagine.
This is one of the worst pictures of me ever, but I'll share anyway. Sadly, it is the closest I get to a "labor" picture-it was taken about 30 hours after Grant was born. I did not hold LO until he was about 28 hours old because I was so sick from pre-e & HELLP and out of it from the mag drip. I think that this picture was taken shortly after they stopped the mag.
Anyway, here's Grant and me. . .

We did a horrible job taking pictures at the hospital, but I do love this one (even though I'm a mess -- omg, my hair!), taken about three hours after Andrew was born.
Oh, CQ, I hope so too.

This is the first time I got to hold both of them together, they were 10 days old.
