Recommend Rocker/Glider

With our first we had an old 50s rocker given to me by my great-Aunt - it was quaint, cute and uncomfortable.

This time around my parents want to purchase us a nice rocker/glider.  We plan on continuing our family after this baby too but probably through adoption... so we need some good options that will last.

I was thinking probably not the regular dutalier gliders, only because they seem great for infants but we need something that is the most practical and has long life.  I was thinking of an upholstered rocker/glider because it can grow with the kids.  Any recommendations.  Obviously I like the Pottery Barn ones, but... price seems high.

I liked the Dutailier reclining glider but DH thought we would use an upholstered one longer.  We ended up getting a Best Chair with ottoman and I really like it.  They have several different options, including recliners, and you can choose from tons of different fabrics.  I don't know if you're planning to BF, but it's wide enough to use a Boppy pillow and is very comfortable while nursing.

Just got the Best Chair Tryp am am in LLLOOOVE!!!! It was 600 but worth every penny. Also looked at teh Peyton by Best Chair but got the Tryp instead since it reclines and glides.

We debated for a while on a lazyboy but ended up ordering a Best chair. Can't remember which one- not all of them are comfty I would suggest trying them all out in store!

Do NOT get one of the JCPenney Home Brand ones.  Ours fell apart just after a year and it's out of warranty so there's nothing we can do about it.

Absolutely LOVE my Taylor Swivel Glider from BRU.  We caught a sale and used coupons and got a great deal on it.

We are planning on ordering the Rock-A-Bye Jayden reclinere from BRU. It reminded me of the PBK one with the high back and deep cushions.
