charting is an obsession

and i hate it.. this morning i had a huge temp spike.. and all day i've been thinking about it.. i've NEVER had one that big, I mean-- I did a double take on the BBT... so now i can't wait to see what happens tomorrow.. i know its WAY too early to hope for a BFP but its just charting.. i'm always wondering what will happen the next day.

is anyone else like this?

yes I am very much obsessed..beginning of last cycle I missed 2 days because I overslept and wanted it very accurate and I was so mad at myself...I am such a weirdo..lol

I don't chart, but if I did, I would probably obsess over it!

Geez, holy temp spike.  I know, once you start you can't seem to stop.  It's very addicting, and has become second nature to me.  I get mad if DH comes to bed after I've been asleep for a few hours because it always screws up my temp.  I always say I won't temp in the 2ww, but my curiosity get the best of me.

Edit--I guess I'm 5dpo, I'm still stuck on yesterday.

ii am obsessed. This is my first month and already I think my chart looks crazy and to be honest I have no idea what it is supposedto look like but I am paranoid already. Ahhhh

Wow that IS a spike! I'm becoming quite obsessed. Checking far too often. Checking my chart too many times a day, too, to see if there are any clues as to whether or not I'm pregnant, that I may have missed.

I think I'll go check my chart....

We are TTA right now so Im much more relaxed about it but dear god Im like a crazy person when we are TTC. I cant wait to go to bed just so I can hurry up and wake up to temp...Its an illness lol

It's the analysis that kills me. I'm a data-minded person anyway, so instead of going back to sleep at 5 am I am up analyzing and looking at trends (and stalking other ladies charts) all in search of the infamous BFP.

Wow. Your spike is very double take worthy! I wouldn't be shocked if it is a fluke temp, but lets hope it keeps going up!

I totally understand the obsession. Which is why i'm pretty sure i'm going to temp this 2ww when I was thinking I wasn't going to.

I obsess over everything. Since my first AF off BCP is here, I just ordered my bbt, opk's, and hpt's yesterday and I'm full aware it will likely take over my thoughts, if not my life.
