I bought the first ones I saw at the store and the boys can not get water out. I even tried and its hard. Does anyone have recs for great , easy straw cups?
which ones did you get? email the company and let them know- i know that Nalgene had some issues with their cups and my friend emailed them and they sent her new ones....
we had issues with some cups b/c the valve was closing shut when in the dishwasher b/c of the heat- but if we massaged the valve a little, then milk came out fine.
we like Thermos Foogo cups - though, they are not spill free, which is a PITA but they keep milk cold forever, so that's nice when out and about.
If it is the munchkin ones (they are usually orange/yellow, green/blue, etc combos and are ridged on the cup part, soft straw...I *think* it is munchkin- we had the same problem & I couldn't even suck water up them. I took a sharp steak knife & stuck it down the part inside that has the valve thing (it is like a plastic piece inside with a slit in it) and turned it & spun it in all directions to open it up, worked like a charm.
