Magic Shave. MUST read!!

Has anyone heard of Magic Shave? I have been using it for years and it is amazing!! I can't shave "down there" because I get razor burn REALLY badly. So someone suggested Magic Shave to me and it has been awesome! You can get a can of it for less than $2 at Walmart. I get the fragranced one because the regular one stinks like rotten eggs! But it is a powder, you mix it with a little water, mix into a paste & apply. 10 minutes later, you wash it off and voila! Smooth as a baby's bottom!I saw a shaving post earlier & it made me think to post this, so maybe it can help someone else out!

  • Ditto, is it different than Nair or similar products? Those stink so bad and burn the heck out of my skin :(

Sooo....it's like nair?  A chemical depilatory?

kinda but it (i believe) was originaly formulated for black men who had the super duper sensitive skin and didn't necessarily want to use a straight razor, so it is a bit milder. It still stinks to the high heavens but makes life REALLY easy when you can no longer see past your belly to shave. Smile i was told about this during my first pg and loooooved it!

  • Are the chemicals safe to use "down there"?
  • I think as long as you are using it on the outside and not the inner labia and around there I think it's fine. I have used it before and it worked but not as well as I thought it would I think because I didnt leave it on long enough or something... This was before I got pg... It didn't burn or irritate my skin.

I still have the can of it, I don't know if it's still good. LOL It's been a few years...

  • Yes, it is kinda like nair. Only nair burns the heck outta me, I have REALLY sensitive skin, and Magic Shave is the only thing that doesn't irritate my skin! You really gotta try it, it rocks! Now the original formula does stink, so get the scented one & it's not so bad. Also, leave it on at least 10 minutes for best results!
