Sleep question

in Parenting after a Loss
So Ella is 5 months old and goes to bed at 8 she is quite till about 12:30 when I feed her but the last week or so she wakes up screaming with an hour of putting her down. It happens about two or three more times. Sometimes her eyes are open sometimes closed. I tried to burp her sometimes she will spit up and sometimes not. What could it be? I thought night terrors but she seems to young for that. Thx

    Sometimes A cries in her sleep. I usually give her a paci or her lovey and she goes quiet again. I chalk it up to being startled or a nightmare, but almost never does she open her eyes. If she did I'd think it was something more. I hope its just a phase for you!

    is it a quick scream and then she's back to sleep, or do you have to go in and settle her? we're having sleep issues so i took lilly to the pedi today. she said if the eyes are closed, baby is technically asleep-- even if she's fussing, fidgeting, etc. it could be gas or teething or just general discomfort while sleeping.
