Intro and a question

Hi ladies, my DH and I are expecting our first child on March 21. Just thought I'd check in here and say hi. I work in Gettysburg, and am delivering in Hanover.

My question, does anyone know where/how to find the local birth announcements from the local hospitals? Online preferably. I'm just curious as to what the popular baby names are in the area. TIA!

I work at York Hospital and you can see the births from York and Gettysburg(They are both WEllspan) by going to www.wellspan.org  Half way down the page you will see a link for the nursery.  You have to choose which hospital and then set a to and from date and you will see all the babies.

my MIL is taking the grandparenting class at york hospital. do you know anything about it? hey, whatever makes her happy, lol!

Hanover Hospital no longer lists the births online, I'm guessing due to privacy reasons.  A few weeks after you're discharged they list it in the newspaper, but the baby names aren't listed. I live in Gettysburg and work in Hanover, so we're from the same neighborhood

lol....no I don't know anything about the grandparents class, but I did take birthing class, child care class and breast feeding class with my son and they have an excellent program.  She is probably so excited!
