I am woman, hear me roar! I gave myself a pep talk this morning after my poor showing yesterday and really pushed myself to the limit and boy it felt GOOD! I am on Day 2 of Level 2 and I was able to hang in there more today. That 3rd circuit strength move with the "V" raises and squat is so ridiculous my arms are screaming through the whole move. I can barely lift my 3 pound weights. I was better at all the plank moves today...could I actually be developing a core????
As for the pp question about sneakers, I wear cross trainers and I think it makes a difference. I read on another site that it is recommended to wear sneaks during the Shred due to all the impact/squatting/jumping. It's worth a try for a few days.
I also saw a weight decrease after that initial terrifying increase so I am convinced L2 will be a good one for me! Keep it up everyone...and for those newcomers, welcome and stick with it!

I , on the otherhand, sucked it up yesterday. I skipped. It was 8:45 by the time we got home last night and I had to be up at 6:00 for a kidney ultrasound this morning. (chronic uti's) I was emotionally spent and checked out early.
But today.... I'm ready for it. I am planning my day around finding time to workout. Only 9 more days!
