Eric as a middle name?

Dh is Eric and if new baby is a boy I'd like to use Eric as a middle name.  It was always my favorite boy name but Dh doesnt want a Jr.  Our Ds has Dh's middle name/family name as his middle name.

Boy names were/are so hard for us and I know its early but I wanted a jump start

Heres what we have so far (our Ln is polish and starts with a Z) :

Nathan Eric

Calvin Eric

Colton Eric

Jonah Eric

I like a lot of your names (of which, Nathan and Jonah are my faves), I also think Samuel would sound really nice with it.

Hmm...I like Nathan, but I think Nathaniel Eric sounds better.

I also like James Eric, but I see that your LN begins with a Z and that probably wouldn't work. What about:

Nathan Eric is my favorite on your list, even though fns ending with n are going to mush together with Eric some.  Jonah Eric is my second favorite.  None on your list are bad names but those 2 are my favorites.
